Self Improvement – Change In Yourself – Nothing Remains The Same

Be aware that nothing remains the same and that you live in an ever changing world. Realize also, that your attitudes, beliefs, thoughts and propensities work against you and prevent you from incorporating change.

You will find that one of the most difficult things to do is to change yourself. You are your thoughts and beliefs, especially the ones that have influenced your psyche. Your thoughts and beliefs form your self identity. In order to change, you have to give up what you feel is right, your self identity as you now perceive it. This is difficult to do, but with small gradual changes incorporated over time, you can change who you are.

The fact that you resist change shows the you have your own comfort zones which are determined by your thoughts and beliefs. The question to ask is “what is right for me?”

The answer is, until you are content and have the freedom you desire, then you should continue to expand your horizons through change in yourself

    I am a big fan of personal development. It is what I do, it is what I teach. I think the world would be a much better world if every person would see the link between her improvement as a person and the improvement of her live, and then would go do something about it.

    At the same time, I believe developing and improving yourself is best not to come from a place of not accepting yourself, but from one of self-respect and wanting to optimize yourself.
