Self Improvement – Self Introspection, It’s A Good Idea

Before you can begin on a path of self improvement or continue down that path, you need to periodically perform an assessment of yourself.  You do this through a process called self introspection.  During this process, you ask yourself deep probing questions that you must honestly answer.  Take your answers and analyze your position.  Set an achievable goal and define a path to successfully accomplish that goal.  You need to  have an awareness of your self being and position before you can chart a path to where you want to go.  These  self introspection’s should be done occasionally to help keep you on track for success.

The best time to do a self introspection is during the calm and quite part of your day.  A time where there will be no interruptions.  Quality time for you alone.  You need to set a relaxing atmosphere, soothing music, ocean sounds, mind vacation audios, bubble bath or even a hot tub.  Somewhere that the environment is soothing, calming and relaxing.  Use breathing exercises to reach a calm state and once you are relaxed, take your list of self introspection questions and answer them as best as you can.  When you are finished with your quality time, take the answers and make an assessment.  You can use your notes from previous sessions to compare with your answers from this session and see how you have grown.  These assessments can be an eye opening tool to your success.  Try it, you will be amazed out what you will find out.
