An opportunity is not always obvious. It can be disguised as work, the unknown, a problem, a mishap or even a chance meeting. You just never know when an opportunity may occur.

The key to recognizing an opportunity is “Opportunistic Awareness”. What in the world is opportunistic awareness? It means that you need to be in a state of heighten open minded awareness for opportunities.

An individual who is opportunistic will be able to perceive, spot, seize, evaluate and then take action on a worthwhile opportunity as soon as it is recognized.

Sometimes you miss an opportunity simply because you do not see the value in it. Remember the saying, “Opportunities Don’t Come With their Value Stamped On Them”. What makes an opportunity valuable? You make it valuable! How? By recognizing, seizing, adding to it, optimizing it and persevering to the best of your ability.

Be willing to look into the unknown, the mishaps, and the problems that abound. It is the solutions to these issues where opportunities can be found. Don’t fear how much work it will take. Do your research, plan, add value and then implement. Seize the opportunity and do your best.

Be ready when an opportunity presents itself. Keep in mind the saying, “Average People Have Wishes and Hopes, Confident People Have Goals and Plans”. Be confident and be ready.

Use the best tool you have, your Mind. Visualize the outcome and make it work for you. Always remember this saying, “If It’s Important You Will Find a Way, If Not You Will Find an Excuse”. You can do this if you make it a priority!!!
