“When You Let Go of Who You Are, Then You Can Grow – Give It A Thought”

How to Grow

How to Grow

When you let go of who you are….  What?  How do you know who you are?

First, know that “When you want to improve your life there’s only one place to look, it’s inside of you & do so with Love” – Dr. Joe Vitale.  The best way of knowing yourself is to routinely use self-introspection examinations.  During each session, record your answers to the “questions”.  Use this record to track your answers in-order to understand who you are now and where your future growth takes you.

Second, ask trusted friends and family to give you an honest opinion of your abilities.  They know you best and their insight will be quite helpful.  You may be surprised at how willing they are to do this.  Keep in mind the saying, “Cherish the friend who tells you the harsh truth, although they would rather tell you a loving lie”.

In order to grow, you have to be willing to let go of who you are.  Get out of your comfort zone and become comfortable with the unknown.  Your self-destructive behaviors which are governed by limiting beliefs need to be identified and changed.

Through the self-introspection process, you can identify limiting beliefs.  It will take time to change them.  It’s a slow and gradual practice, using the technique of “Positive Re-Interpretation of Negative Thoughts”.

This is the procedure of re-thinking and wording negative thoughts with positive words.   When you change your negative thinking to positive thinking, it will gradually change your belief system.

What do you need to grow?

First, in order to grow, you must be open minded.  Be willing to explore new horizons and not prejudge information through your personal belief system.  Don’t be afraid of change, your way may not always be the best way.

Second, pursue whatever you decide to do with passion.  When you use your passion, you are willing to research and dig deeper for the facts and truths.

Third, develop and use a networking  system.  ASK!!!  Ask those you know and trust.  Some of the best sources for information include professional organizations such as Small Business Administration, Chamber of Commerce and Rotary Club.  Also, you can join a Mastermind Group or hire Coaches and Mentors.  Bottom line, “Don’t re-invent the wheel”, just learn how to make it work for you.

Fourth, make a plan, set goals and deadlines.  Just make sure they are obtainable and celebrate when you reach each one.  Growth is a gradual step by step process; it takes time.

Fifth, use the technique of visualization.  Remember that “In Quiet Water Items are Mirrored Clearly. In a Quiet Mind, Clear Perception is Gained“.  See yourself growing and reaching what you desire.

Whether you use Vision Boards or MindMovies, by concentrating on images of what you want, you align your thoughts and thinking towards achieving your goal. Gradually, by making “Decisions with Your Goal in Mind”, you will achieve the growth you are looking for.

Always remember the saying, “It Only Takes One Person to Change Your Life”.  Who is that one person?  It’s You!!!  Always be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of what others want you to be.

It’s really a simple process; don’t let situations get you down; learn the process of managing yourself and thus situations.  I want to introduce you to a fabulous system by my friend Dr. Joe Vitale, star of the hit movie “The Secret”.   It’s Called “The Secret Mirror”

The Secret Mirror is a series of video interviews of one on one consultations between Dr. Joe and his students.  You can see how he uses the mirror technique to unlock each individuals subconscious mind for answers.

Our subconscious is full of information.  We need to learn how to access it.   Keep in mind the saying, “Know that the Answer Lies Within”.  It is inside of you.  Click this Link To Access It.
